View Full Version : Jan 08 Mum's - parcel swap??

This thread is to allow all the 'due in Jan 08' mum's to register interest in sending another Jan 08 mum a swap parcel. Some of us don't have family nearby to throw us a baby shower in real life so it is a way of having a baby shower within the forum group. :)

I am happy to co-ordinate this and have a few ideas but any other input would be welcomed.

Ideas:

*That this register be kept open for the next 4 (four) weeks so that mums who only post sporadically get a chance to register;

*That the parcel needs to contain one small gift for baby and one for the mum-to-be and cost no more than $25 (postage extra);

*You could add a handwritten letter, a cute card, or pics of your family for a more personal touch;

*That if you sign up to participate it is a commitment you must keep as your swap partner would be extremely disappointed if they did not receive their gift;

*Posting day for parcels would be in the week between December 8 and December 15 so that most mums are receiving around the same time and hopefully before the earliest bubs arrive;

*That the process be kept secret. You will know who you are posting to but not who is posting to you.

Please, if anyone is interested, register and we can get the ball rolling.

Is it just me or has the last 3 weeks gone SO slow??

I was thinking this finished up this weekend, but it's NEXT weekend...

The thing I was looking at on eBay will have to go as it ends tomorrow, can't send it directly to the person if the 7 day payment option ends before this does...

Oh well!!

The names have been divided and I apologise to those who did not email me their address, I had to move on as there is a time limit on this...
