Finally get to go where I want to.

Hi there, as a few of you know about the struggles that I have had trying to get into Monash, to have this baby.
At 1st they would accept me as I was not a high risk patient, so I went to Sandringham, they would not accept me because of my weight. And dandenong is too far without a car.

I rang Monash the other day and explained to the lady that I had to have my baby there and gave her alot of valid points as to why, she said I am sorry but there is nothing that we can do.
On Thursday morning I got a phone call from her, she explained to me that she really felt for me because of the situation that I was/am in so she spoke to the midwife and convinced her to let me book in there.

So now I am so happy to report that I am having my 2nd baby at Monash Medical Center as I wanted. I got my 1st appointment there on Wednesday :smiliedance:

That seems a little odd that you didn't get in to Monash straight away. My hairdresser's wife wanted to go to Dandenong but they were full so they're going to Monash. I got into Dandenong no worries, but for a while thought I might have to go to Monash because of previous complications - it's heaps further though and Dandenong dealt with my complications really well last time (It was my health, not the baby's).

Wow thats great! Honestly though you would think that monash would be ideal to take you one though if your considered high risk, after all they are apparently the ones that cater for everything that can happen
