Guess i'm on my own
Hey I'm around, but not much either.. I'm hiding in my aircon!
We went to Parap pool on the weekend which was nice, I like their kiddy pool with the mushrooms and slide.
Yep it's been really hot!
Also went to the Palmerston library, and it was great! I'll be going to the Thursday morning session for 0-5's. Should be fun, and nice and cool!

Hi
I went to the last palmy markets on friday night with the kids which they loved. They saw santa and thought it was christmas day!!! And sunday we went out to a mates place at bees creek for a birthday bbq which was nice. This friday I'm off to see paul kelly at the entertainment centre. Be nice for a break!!!
I forgot all about the thursday mornings at the library, I should try get down there with my two little ones again. We used to go regularly but got out of the routine somehow. They have been so bored at home since we've had no car.

I have been meaning to take Jaxon to the library but always working when it;s on.
Carly what have you been studying?
Seems everyone is into the pools.
We have been to palmy market also jaxon enjoyed himself.
I've been doing a night course on Introductory to Accounting, i'm just over half way through so happy about that. It's for my job as i do everthing in the office, i needed to go back and re learn the accounts side of things. I'm eventually wanting to be a bookkepper so i can work anywhere. So if we ever get posted i can pick up work easily.
I've always wanted to go to the story time thing at the library but for some reason never went. I'm abit worried now as DD1 can get a bit moody and DD2 might get too restless. Would be nice to go out and actually talk to other mums face to face.
I wish we would get some storms already so over this build up. We have been going to the pool on the RAAF base a bit and hanging out in the aircon at casuarina on a sunday, it's like a little family day out not very exciting i know but it's something.
Whats everyone got planned for christmas?

Hey Kirsty
Palmerston Library has 'Tunes & Tales' Tuesdays and Thursdays 10-10.45am, 0-5 years.
We've just joined, so we'll go check it out tomorrow.

Hey
The tunes and tales is really good. Plenty of other mums and a good age range of kids. Doesn't matter if the kids get roudy cause they sing and dance and everyones chasing after kids lol. They keep them really well entertained and it's just long enough for them. I'm going to try get down there tomorrow so if any of you other ladies are there, I have a red tartan nappy bag with a pink bubhub tag attached to it so feel free to say gday.
maddy&kayleesmum- I know what you mean with the rain, we've had a couple of storms but not much, it keeps missing us. You can feel them building then it completely turns around and goes the other way.:hair: Drives me insane. Would love to be taking the kids to leanyer water park but with no car just can't get around. Hopefully that will change soon.

Hi
I actually made it to Tunes and Tales this morning however I did get there a little after start time having to rely on the bus. My sister came along too. Did anyone else manage to get there? The girls had a lovely time.
Hey Veronica, we did plan to go, but didn't make it :(
There's a playgroup on at Gray primary every Tuesday 9-11 (during the school term) that I try to get to as well.
I'd like to make tunes and tales a regular thing, DS would love it.
Hey Kirsty - a classic misread of your post ^^^^ sorry! :o I thought you were asking what time it was on... :D
