Not a nappy cake but similar idea?

Hi everyone,

Had a great baby shower myself earlier this year and a friend made me a nappy cake. Another v close friend is having a baby shower at beginning of dec and she has none of the "little things" (clothes; toiletries; socks bibs rah rah rah) and I want to make her a "nappy cake style thing" but with lots of other things in it (not just nappies). Has anyone seen something like this? It's a weird idea I know, but just a crazy thought. She is a very good friend so I would be happy to spend time, money and effort on it.

No ideas, sorry...
For my sis in law we got a baby bath and the stand (DF and I that is) and filled it with all of the things she'd need for bath time - bath thermometre, the baby washes, face washers, towels, I think we actually chucked in a cute dummy or 2... we spent waaaay over budget on it - we spent like $300 or something...
What ours lacked on presentation was made up for in WOW factor :D

I have seen 'flowers' etc made up out of socks, and things like 'cakes' made from bits and pieces. Google some and that should give you some fab ideas. :thumbsup:
