Hi everyone,

I'm 27 and currently 14 weeks pregnant. Had my first scan at 12 weeks and everything was fine. Just wondering if anyone else out there has had a pregnancy with not many symptoms. I'm worried because I've never had morning sickness (queaziness came and went on and off very quickly in the first 12 weeks). Boobs only feel sore every now and again. Some light headness. In the last 2-3 weeks I've just noticed a little bump but besides that the whole time I've been pregnant I haven't really felt much different. I'm worried something bad might happen and I won't know. Has anyone else had a similar experience?

my second pregnancy was like that. every time i went to the doctor i would be like, 'it doesnt even feel like im pregnant' he would reassure me each time that i really was, and i went on to have a really good labour as well, so just consider yourself blessed and enjoy it! :)

Hi There,

just thought id let you know I have one son who is almost 2. He was concieved through IVF and if it wasn't for that during the first trimester I could have questioned whether or not I was pregnant. I didn't suffer from any morning sickness (not that I was complaining) as you have said slight light headedness but really nothing else to give it away. Just enjoy it if you can, I think if you are blessed with a good healthy pregnancy without sickness enjoy every second as you will look back and think how quick it really went once it is over. Good Luck. I am going back this Tuesday to try for another IVF cycle to hopefully give my son Declan a playmate. Claire

With my first pregnancy I didn't show any symptoms until about 13 weeks when extreme fatigue set in. From that time onward I never had a day when I was having some sort of sign of pregnancy (fatigue, belly bump, fluid, etc).

My second pregnancy was a lot like that of coopsntilly's. It was ages before I started to even feel pregnant. I kept thinking that maybe I was having a phantom pregnancy and that was the only reason I had gotten a positve test result. But once again by about 15-16 weeks I all of a sudden had a big bump emerging and was starting to feel bub moving.

All in all I'd probably be more worried if I was throwing up all the time and actually felt half of the symptoms that other people experience. Just relax and enjoy the fact that you're pregnant and feel great!! It should only be a few more weeks and you'll start to feel the flicker of baby movements and you'll soon have your 18/20 week scan.

Good luck to you !:)

Hi Lisa.
My symptoms are pretty much the same as you, only I'm not as far along in my pregnancy. I think we should just do as everyone has already suggested and thank God that we are having it so good! :) I do wish you the best in the coming exciting weeks! :p
Love, Nan. xx

Hi

while at the beginning of my pregnany I was quite sick and lost 5 kilos after I got over that I felt quite normal. I was so worried when I went for my 20 week scan that something was wrong as I still wasn't showing I am now due in 10 days and people still think that I am only 5 months pregnant. :) I am still at work full time and am finishing 6 days before bub is born!!! Being my first pregnany I was petrified that the bub wasn't growing. But everything is fine. Just enjoy your pregnany and relax - easier said than done I know!

Hi Lisa,

Don't worry, I'd say we are the lucky ones!!!! I am not as far yet as you are, but if I didn't know any better I would say I am not pregnant at all.

No headaches, no cramps, no throwing up and no craving, not even a bump???

I read the symptoms of morning sickness on the other threads and consider my self the lucky one.

Hi Lisa,

I am currently 12 weeks, I haven't had much morning sickness, just a lot of nausea in the evenings, headaches and that is about it. I haven't put on any weight as yet and I haven't got many other symptoms.

But I think everyone's body reacts differently, some people of slight symptoms, others have really harsh ones. Just continue to eat well, and make sure you have the right amount of vitamins etc for your bubby - and go with the flow.

Some myths out there though, are those that experience lots of morning sickness are more likely to have a girl, those that don't have morning sickness may have a boy. So after reading some of the other ladies posts that have had boys - maybe there could be something in that!!! :D

Good luck, I am sure everything is fine - if you have a bump now, that is a good sign bubby is growing.

Hello Mums-to be,

My first pregnancy was fantastic. I knew I was pregnant from the moment of conception (no joke - really bad pains for me) but after that I had no pregnancy symptoms at all until I went into labour. No weight gain, fluid retention, cramps, morning sickness, soreness, tiredness - NOTHING!! I loved it!! Obviously, I had my "little bump" but that was it!!

This time - YUCK!!
I didn't actually find out until I was 13 weeks pregnant (didn't miss a period until after 4 months) but for about 8 weeks I was suspicious as I felt constantly nauseas, my boobs hurt, I was so bloated I looked like the michelin man and after about 5 months I have been throwing up pretty regularly (I call it late on-set morning sickness!!). I have put on a heap of weight, my "little bump" is not so little this time, and all that consumes my thoughts is "when can I fit a nap into today".

No two pregnancies are alike and if I could have had my first pregnancy all over again I would have been so happy, this time has been a horror in comparison.

So, enjoy every moment of your comfy pregnancy!!

Hi ladies,

Yes I agree, I didn't even find out I was Pregnant until 14 Weeks. ( i know it sounds silly). I have PCOS and was told I may need a little help in concieving. I don't get a regular period and i didn't think twice. So I had about 2 days of sore boobs and i put it down to a new Bra i was wearing. Silly me.

BUT 14 Weeks - NOT really a sign it was fantastic and very exciting.

So enjoy not feeling yucky. before you know it your little baby bump will be popped out and you will be able to show it off.

Enjoy your pregnancy

Hi Lisa,

I'm now 34 weeks pregnant, and aside from 8 weeks of feeling "sea-sick" and tired (from 3-11 weeks), and one odd plane related incident, I've had a symptom free pregnancy myself. I read the forums with great interest, and have been reading "Up the Duff" and "What to Expect", but each time I go to see my OB I have nothing to report except a feeling of being fabulously healthy. I'm still wearing heels to work every day, and going to "Preggi Bellies" three times a week as well as walking on weekends.

I say if you're lucky enough to not have any problems then count your blessings. Every woman and every pregnancy is different, so you're just one of the lucky ones. Now go and buy a lotto ticket, and touch some wood! :)
