urgh..
the other day my dd wore her first cloth nappy sorta thing (ok.. well there was a disposi underneath but oh well lol) it looked soo cute and comfy and then ive been looking thru pics here at all the cloth nappies..
Id love to start using them and was considering it, but then what happens today? ..
Our freakin washing machine blew up! Was literally on fire!!:banghead: so with all the basin washing of all our clothes im gunna have to do.. I wont have time to wash and soak nappies for awhile :hair:
That and with all the water restrictions.. blehh
*sigh* oh well

Sounds like time for a new washing machine:laughing: Go out and get a new one, we did a few months ago, Harvey Norman do take home finance most of the time.
It's a top loader but has no agitator so it works like a front loader and it saves heaps of water. In QLD we got a $200 water rebate for buying a watersaving machine. It has lowered our water consumption quite considerably.
A worthwhile investment, my washing comes out beautifully clean including my nappies, no soaking needed at all!!
Then start collecting your nappy stash and enjoy the addiction that is MCN!!

Don't soak Modern Cloth Nappies, it will ruin the elastic and any PUL in the nappies! Just drypail. Have a read of the stickies in this section, lotsa important info there.

Bugger about the machine... How frustrating!! :hair:
