by the sewing bug!!

Ever since we started the last Super Swap!! (I was to busy until then)

Now I can't get enough!!

These are my stuffable fitted's (I've made three more since then!!) They are the BEST night nappy I've made (so far:p )

Alexis wore one last night (with a cover) and she's a medium wetter and when I took the cover off 12 hours later to change nappies the only part of the outside of the nappy that was wet through was a small patch on the back where she was lying:smiliedance:

They are two body layers of bamboo fleece, cotton or flanelette outer and suedecloth inner, all made into a pocket.
I made bamboo trifolds to go in them. I've got to say.....I'm impressed:D :o

my nappies are VERY dodgy, i am hopeless at sewing so far :(
but now Harper is sitting up and less "hold me all the time" - i am hoping to get lots more practice!

They look great. I know what you mean though i made 2 xmas nappies for ds yeasterday and i cant wait to strat the nappy for the next swap. I will proberly make another nappy today once ds goes down for his nap (or at the very least cut our a few more) the fabric is calling me. I also have a shirt and a few singlets i want to put appliquaes (sp?) on for christmas too.

I love seeing everyone's work. It feels so good when you turn a flat piece of material into a great creation like nappies or clothes.
