Pains

Hi,

Has anyone experienced period like pains though nothing is wrong as such. My doctor said could be early contractions. Any advice?

Hey there Sh80. I got a lot of them in the first 10 weeks or so, but not so often now. If your Dr thinks it ok, it probably is, but I now it hard to relax! Early contractions - do they mean like brackston hicks?? I do get them from pretty early on as well - around 18 weeks - but I don't find them painful at all - just that tightening sensation. Hope it settles down for you soon :)

I have had alot of these too. I was in hospital last weekend, the pain was quite severe, but my cervix was closed.

The OB said its relatively normal. Try not to worry too much:hugs:
