Both of my girls were born on the same day - a year apart. (Amazing I know!) My problem is that for my first daughter we had a big first birthday party (no wonder I went into labour!). Now that my second is about to turn 1 and my eldest 2, how do I make is special for both? Any suggestions greatly appreciated!

I would do the same big party for the both of them on the same day as you did for your first. It wont worry them that they are sharing the day then next year scale down the party. Id also do their cakes at different times so they both get a song. I dont think as they get older your older one is going to make a deal about having a big party for her 1st and 2nd and the younger one only having a big party for her first.
Next year you could have a lunch birthday for one girl then a dinner or afternoon birthday for the other.
Hope that was of some help.

I agree with ^^^ do a joint birthday just make sure they have individual cakes :D
My sister and i are 4 days apart (12 months) and we used to have this why we were younger we just insisted we had our own cake LOL
