Hi there just wondering if anyone out there have there babies a year apart from each othere and is it hard having them so close together.
Not me, I know of 2... I'm sure there's more though...
Maybe if you can draw attention to TinyStar (a mod) and Lollie?? They're both July 06 mummas...
TS's little July 06 man is the younger and Lollie's July 06 twins are the older of the year aparters...
Hope you ladies don't mind me passing on your usernames...
Good luck with it all!!!

My youngest 2 are 12 months apart to the day :) The first few months are challenging, as they are with any newborn though but then you settle in and its great! Now the girls are 16 months and 2y4m and they adoreeeeee each other and play really nicely :D
My girls are 1 yr and 2 weeks apart. The first year was easy. Now that there are 2 toddlers running around it's a bit tiring, but i wouldn't say it's hard.
They are the best of friends and entertain eachother heaps. I love the age gap!

We have a 14mth gap between #2 +#3. It was really hard for the first year or so but our DD(#2) is a very difficult child to handle anyways so that is the only reason that it was. They are now nearly 3 and 20mths and its great:D
I have a daughter 14 months and a son 8 weeks tomorrow. Takes a little bit of juggling but you work with it. I'm sure when my son gets older that they'll have a ton of fun together!
I will have an 11 month gap between my two... my DS was born at the Beginning of January 07 and my DD is due at the end of November this year!!
I've been told that the first 6 months is hard as it's like having twins but I had a lot of trouble conceiving my DS so we are thrilled to have our little surprise! I've been told that they keep each other entertained when they get a little older so I'm really happy with the gap....
I'm a bit tired at the moment though so I guess you have to consider that it is hard on your body as well with such a small gap between pregnancies.
My first two are 13.5 months apart. I found the first two years easy - no jealousy etc. But now they are almost 4 and 3 they're a bit competitive and tend to fight a bit. They're still great friends though and are very protective of eachother. I loved having them so close together.

my 2 boys are 11 months apart.
it was hard when they were little, but they are 9 and 10 soon so its great now.
once you get past all the baby/toddler parts, its easy because they are doing the same thing at the same time. same age group for toys, same skill levels (mainly), same starting school together, everything they do they share with their brother.
its is very hard to begin with and the fact i was only 21 when i had my 2nd and then became single didnt help, but i made it, and its been a great ride.
im about to have another one and there will be a 9 year gap, much too big i think but cant do much now.
id rather have my kids all together.

My sons are 15 months apart. I suppose I was lucky that the less demanding baby came along to be my second born. That and as they get older they seem to be able to interact more which is great for my eldest son cause he gets bored easily.

I was wondering the same thing. I have a 10 month old now but my next baby is due in 10 weeks so there will be about 13 months between them.
I will also have another one turning 3 in February so the thought of having 3 in nappies is just arggghhhh!
I really want to breastfeed number 4 as I fully breastfed babies 1 and 2 until they were 12 months old but had problems with my milk with my last little man so he has been bottle fed since 3 months. I guess this makes it a little more convenient as at least I will only have 1 permanently attached to me!
My little guy is a really good baby (thank goodness) but I am still nervous about coping with so many when they are all so young!
My main worry is whether they will all get enough attention! My two older boys absolutely love the little guy and are really good with him but what is going to happen when there is ANOTHER baby in the house.
Oh well, I guess I haven't got long to find out :fingerscrossed:
Hugs,
Elle
my 1st two were 11 months apart and I only remember one downfall and that was when I went places that i didn't use a pram for ( like childcare etc) it was hard with 2 non walkers - it is much easier when one can walk. but since then I have discovered the sling.

My two are 14 months apart.
I cant wait until Baylee (7 mths) can crawl, she is so close to it. Jayden (22 mths) loves her to pieces.
Like a PPer said, I can't wait until they are both toddlers and can run around together and play together!
It is a challenge sometimes, but well worth it.
Another PPer said that going somewhere without a pram is difficult. I agree it would be if BOTH couldnt walk. My eldest can, so I guess that is a plus for me.
My younger brother and I are 14 months apart.. Mum said it was the perfect age gap!
I have a 13 month gap between 2 of mine, (#3 and #4) and found it great.
You are still in the nappy stage... so what is a few more? You have a nappy bag all set up... you just add a few more things, and you can put the new bub in a sling, and still get away with one pram if it is a narrow shop :)
I think other people think it is harder than it was...
I found when they were 2 and a half and 3 1/2 to be the worst... but still enjoyable. :)

My 2nd and 3rd are 13 months apart.
They were both great babies, not demanding, didn't hardly cray etc so I found it easy having the both of them close together.
I will have and looking forward to it... yes it was planned a May 07 & May 08 bubba's
