Hey Has Anyone Had There First Scan Yet?

HI EVERYONE

IM HAVING MY SCAN IN A WEEK I CAN'T WAIT, THE DOC SAID I COULD HAVE GONE AT 6WEEKS OR SO BUT I DECIDED TO WAIT SO I DIDN'T HAVE TO GO BACK TWICE LIKE I DID WITH DS, ALTHOUGH WITH DS THEY PICKED UP HEARTBEAT AT 5WEEKS & 4DAYS NICE & EARLY.I WILL BE 10WEEKS PREGNANT(THAT DATE IS FROM THE START OF MY LAST AF) BUT PRETTY SURE CONCEIVED AROUND THE 10/11 SEPT, SO THAT WOULD MEAN OUR LITTLE BEAN WOULD BE 7/8WEEKS OLD.

SO DO ANY OF YOU MUMMYS KNOW WHEN YOU CONCEIVED? IF SO ARE YOU SAYING YOU ARE SO MANY WEEKS FROM YOUR LAST AF OR SO MANY WEEKS FORM YOUR CONCEPTION DATE?
BUT IT IS HARD TO PINPOINT EXACTLY WHEN CONCEPTION OCCURS.
i GUESS THE SCAN WILL LET ME KNOW!!

Dr's etc always go by your LMP not the conception date. HTH :thumbsup:

Hey Birthingbeauty. Very exciting! I bet you can't wait!!! It will seem more like 3 weeks away than 1 :)

I am only 4 weeks 6 days (date from LMP). Very very early. I think I am going to wait until 10-11 weeks before I have a scan. I was going to try and get an early one because I was having pains but they seem to come and go, so I dont think it would be anything too serious. But I guess it would be good to ease my mind a bit!

As for when I conceived, I have no idea. :no: But very very excited. I am having so much trouble trying not to talk about it.

I had lots of niggly pains the same time as you, it felt like AF was coming, but its just bubs settling in to place.They should pick something up @ a 6week scan, Like i said with my DS i was 5wks & 4days, so very early & the scan picked up a wee heartbeat beating away....awww but they did say go back at 8weeks to make sure & I did all was grt.So this time thought I'd wait.
