There are many other options in life: fresh food markets, on-line ordering, home deliveries etc.

:detective: How do you food shop?

i shop at 3-4 different places each week

i start at aldi, then go to bi-lo (to get stuff aldi doesnt have) and to try and get any cheap meat, then the fruit shop, then if bi-lo doesnt have any/much meat i will go to the butcher....

ETA: I do it all
I shop with the kids in tow
Hubby coming to the supermarket with me (no way!) - drives me nuts!!
The bulk is done at the supermarket

I'm a sucker for punishment - I shop with hubby and the kids in tow, with a list that I don't often follow, three or four times a week cause I didn't get food last time, mostly at the supermarket or butcher!!

I do it all. Leave the kids home with DH....sometimes I take Emily but never both of them, too hard.

I never take DH because if I do we spend $100 more than if I do it alone.

If I have time I go to Aldi first, then Woolies or Coles. Some weeks I don't have time to do two trips so I do the lot at Woolies.

I'd love to order online but apparently Woolies and Coles don't consider Brisbane important enough to offer us online shopping. Been waiting for it for YEARS and still waiting :hair: I'd gladly never set foot in the supermarket again.
