Sun works miracles!!!

I am so amazed at the powers of the sun in regards to stain removing on mcn's.
I've read about it, you know, line dry them and the sun removes stains...yeah yeah, my nappies always looked clean when I hung them out so I never really noticed any difference....
well that was until we experienced a poop explosion the other day and poop went all over the nappy, a white nappy mind you. So I rinse and wash and there is still a huge stain all over the inside of the nappy, so I wash again twice to try and remove it....i'm starting to wonder now how will I get this stain out. I just thought i'll hang it out anyway and see how we go?!

Well much to my suprise the nappy was spotless...I couldn't believe it as it was quite a big stain.

it's amazing hey! I only ever use a quick 30 minute wash on cold. the sun does the rest:thumbsup:

I know, it's amazing isn't it?! Once I had a nappy with a really large explosion stain :p and I hung it in the sun, and it faded in a straight line as there was part of the nappy that the sun didn't directly hit.

For the best part of the past couple of decades or so, most people have disregarded the sun, what with Napisan ads pumping us with the info that NOTHING will remove stains other than their product.

Well, I say "Pooey" to them! No wonder the Aztec's worshiped the Sun :D

Love the sun!! For some weird reason, the nappies the kids sleep in are sometimes SO FOUL SMELLING in the morning, you would not believe it. The room, the hall, all down to the kitchen REEK with this feral urine, kinda smokey smell. It takes hours or fresh air for the smell to leave their rooms sometimes :barf:

The sun always leaves them smelling fresh, ready to get all gross again the next night! :D :rolleyes:
