Anyone else going to any Fringe stuff???
I know it's tricky with little bubba's. I'm taking Vallerie to some of the free stuff, there's busking competitions and some kind of "fun day in the park" thingy.
AND the best thing ever! We're going to "Singalong Sound Of Music" :smiliedance:!!!
Friends of mine went to that at the last fringe and said it was AMAZING!! Have fun!! Are you dressing up?? My friends went as a 'brown paper package tied up with string' and a 'girl in white dress with blue satin sash'!! Heehee!
I'm not going this time, as its a bit too tricky with Eden's feeds, but last fringe I was in a show with two girlfriends calles 'sisters of motown'. We had soooooo much fun. I love that music. I'm a bit sad that another girl is singing my parts this time, but you can't perform and keep a three month old happy at the same time!!! (Well, I can't anyway!) So, I'll put in a plug for them. It is a great show.
Love,
Nan. xx

Hey, I travelled down for the fringe quite a few years ago. (I'm in Brisvegas) I absolutley loved it!! I had sooo much fun. I have been nagging my DF to go again, but it is just too expensive. Have Fun!!

Wow Nan you sound very talented!!
My sister wants us to dress up, she has been to one before and she must have seen your friend because she told me the funniest one she ever saw was someone dressed as a brown paper package tied up in string!!! I think I'll just plait my hair. I was going to put Vallerie in a pink coat (you know, one little girl in a pale pink coat.....)
It could very well have been her because she said she was the only one there dressed like that. She's a bit freaky that way - very creative. :D I was thinking that the only way she could top it is if she went as 'schnitzel with noodles'!!
Thanks for the compliment btw and I love the pale pink coat idea. How cute!
Bec, you're right - it is heaps of fun. We had a lot of fun roaming the streets in the opening parade, singing at the top of our lungs to try and drown out everyone else!! Silly us.
Love,
Nan. xx
