ok ladies, i finally got my first fluffy mail too.

IM very excited, but i just ahve a few questions, i dont ahve time to look up the nappy info sites sorry. im lazy

1. can you wash all the coloured nappies together, and what type of water (hot or cold

2. should i wash them a few times before putting any on him

3. silly me brought a few pokets but thought they came with inserts too, hehe, so what do i put in them i have a baby kanga and a greenkid. i brought a hepm stuffer but it has snaps on it, am i able to put this is them or not.

thanks im just a bit lost to start, they look so cool, i cant wait to try one.
oh also last question, these are what i got, can i use any of these as night nappies or should i get others:
itti biit a.i.o, biiti boo fitted, berry blush a.i.o, mandy mac, green kid pocket, monkey doodle a.i.o, baby kanga, bbh wool wrap and hemp insert

I am still waiting on:
bummis wraps (on backorder), bumgenious, peapods and bubblebums

You can wash all your nappies in together, the colours won't run.

I've only ever washed on cold. You don't need to use hot water if you hang them in the sun. :thumbsup: But if it's raining and I'm going to use the dryer, I do a hot wash. (actually I do a short cold wash to get them 'clean' then do a longer hot wash.)

If you have any bamboo or hemp nappies wash them at least 3 times to increase the absorbancy. They'll reach maximum absorbancy after 8-10 washes.
Pockets only need to be washed once.

You can use ANYTHING to stuff your pocket nappies old handtowels, microfibre cleaning cloths, cut up terry flats... yes you can use your hemp booster even though it has snaps.. makes no difference to the absorbancy.

What kind of Green Kids have you got? A funtime or an anytime? The Anytimes work well when boosted overnight.
I've heard that Mandy Macs work well overnight.
