Yep you're getting in nice and early. I will be with that date but I can only be put down for a maybe since I could be required elsewhere (labour ward) if I go by my instincts that this little guy will be coming early.

He's not due till ANZAC Day (April 25th) but for some reason esp the last week I've got this feeling he'll be here before then. I'll be up for it if I'm not at the hospital, but lets make it somewhere around the city or Southbank that way I won't have to worry about trying to find the place or getting my pg booty to the hospital if need be. :p

Yup, Southbank is good:) Alot of us were thinking that it would be god just to do coffee and cake next time...due to some people not being able to come due to the cost. Parking is free at Southbank if you spend over $20 or something isnt it?

Ooh, I just remembered I can park at the Mater for free:thumbsup: Southbank would be good for those catching public transport too:thumbsup:

poshBecks

It's $30 per car at selected restaurants. Kapsali isn't one of them.... :( ( it's nice there). I cant remember what other places have that deal....? Amici's is the only one I remember...

Becky I like your sig;)

OK then is Amicis that big coffee shop style place near the museum end? If so...we could make it a coffee and cake night but then people who are coming from work or whatever can still order meals if they want to:D

Southbank is good! If I don't have my car by then, it's not too far from the train station! Count me in for this one (providing nothing comes up between now and then!):D

Oi - which one of you won the gnome???

Thought the deal was that you all had to rain praise upon Veve, the holder of the gnome, in order to get the privilege (questionable) of organising the next dinner? What will she do without people grovelling to her?????

(And what happened to the idea of chinese karaoke near the Mater - Ffrenchie wasn't that your idea??)

Having said all of that I will be away in April so won't be there anyway - have a good time!

HEAR HEAR!!!!! DAMN straight.. I am the GNOME HOLDER!!!!

go right ahead... organising the march dinner has been horrible!!! I cant wait to pass nick-o-less on,... and then cause as much trouble as possible for the next gnome holder!!!!!

remember- you have to earn him!!!!

ARE WE WEARING A COLOUR TO APRIL??? (like we are supposed to wear pink in march??)

23-02-2006, 22:36
Well... I asked about the gnome.... no one told me the rules!!!! :p Sorry veve...

Ffstar, No Amici's is the Italian restaurant near cold rock... but lets go for coffee & cake somewhere, that sounds good!!

Hmmm a colour hey, thats just as daggy as name tags!!!! (you all remember my opinion on name tags.... I'm too cool for that!! LOL LOL) JUst kidding....:p

veve
23-02-2006, 22:46
oooh .. me?? uncool? never (hitching up wasitband.. pulling up socks and smoothing out the bum-part in my hair)

you cant NOT wear a nametag??!! such confusion!!! :banghead: how would we keep track of the screen names and real names??!!!

you dont need to be cool... we bubhubbers have our OWN level of coolness... so :p

note- dont worry.... you can certainly start the thread on the april dinner... doesn't mean you'll get nick-o-less though :D

poshBecks
23-02-2006, 22:51
He he he  , yes I know, the name tags help.... otherwise I would have NEVER remembered who was who!! I still think they are daggy though...:p
