There could always be a chance that you ovulated later this month and that you may be experiencing implantation spotting in the early stages. If this was the case then until the egg implants and the hcg hormone starts producing it would be too early too test.
It could also be that you ovulated as per norm and are experiencing the later stages of implantation but sometimes it takes a couple more days for a test to show positive.
Hope that didnt confuse you!

Im not sure but would test againthis morning.
Good luck
Oh Savina - we in the same boat.
Had bad pains in stomach - got up this morning and had spotting, only stopped taking pill on my last period - which finished 5/2. So i shouldnt have them again yet should i? Everything seems to have disappeared now though - i too did a test - negative.
My Fiance and i decided last month that we would start to try for our first - we just cant afford the wedding we want at the moment and we both decided theres always time for a wedding, not always time for a baby!
Fingers crossed!
i got them ! i dontb know why that happend but anywayy they came!
thankyou all ido hope yours sorts itself out!
