Hi,
Everyone who see's me asks if I have had any cravings, no matter how boring or weird they may be.
I am almost 16 weeks pregnant and am going through 8 litres of Apple Juice a week. I am also polishing off a number of packets of wedges and chicken nuggets.:ecomcity:
Now it's my time to do the asking.:yelclap:
Ladies, I ask you to come forward and share your cravings either past or present.
LET'S SPREAD THE WORD!!!!

Please God can I crave something healthy soon!!

I have had cravings for all kinds of things but the weirdest would have to be mustard pickles on a sandwich! :o
I eat anything that is put in front of me though! Food is my friend!
I have to second BG on the cheezles and ice cream thing though! YUM! I craved that in my first pregnancy! It tastes best with soft serve ice cream!! :D

Just trying to quote the last sentence! Won't let me!! Maybe it's the crunch and sweet thing. I can't imagine it myself - waste of good cheezles!! Imagine if you leave it too long and they go soggy - yucko

Yeah soggy cheezels would be gross but you just dip in the ice cream and then munch away, you don't actually put them all in with the ice cream itself.

I loved Potato, Sherbet, Ice and the smell of washing powder! I wanted to eat washing powder!!!!
Basically anything crunchy was just heavenly for me.
In my first trimester I ate like I was hung over. Lots of fried foods. Did wonders for my waist ...

Ok BG and NM - that sounds a bit better. I was imagining a big bowl of yellowish swirly ice cream with soggy chunky bits. (blahhhh!)

In my first trimester my cravings seem to have be en anything fried or greasy. McDonalds Quarter Pounders, haven't been able to get enough of them. Before I fell pregnant I hadn't eaten McDonalds for over 2 years because I can't stand the stuff. Also I've loved cheese and peanut butter (but not together).
Now that I'm 15 1/2 weeks I'm starting to want more fruit, anything cold and sweet. Usually I can't get enough vegies but at the moment all I feel like is cold raw carrot, pickled asparagus and corn on the cob.
Ohh and I can't seem to get enough cold water, it just tastes so good......

- Mash potato (I went out to dinner for my birthday and had fish and mash instead of fish and chips haha)
- Crackers (Cheds, Country Cheese, Cruskits, Water Crackers)
- Pink iced donut men YUM!
I have completely gone off all the junk I used to eat, HJs (burger king), Maccas, Chicken Treat etc I can't touch the stuff!
And what I miss is beer. I love a beer on a hot day and I can't have it and everyone else is having them :(

With DS I craved sweet things, I didn't discriminate as long as it was loaded with sugar I would eat it. This time it's the opposite, I am loving anything salty and savoury, I went and bought some Maldon salt last weekend as it is saltier than normal salt and has a really strong flavour, mmmmmmmmmm, so good :D
Also cheese, between DS and I we have gone through a whole 1kg block in the last week!

I should add, I don't actually just eat the salt on it's own, just sprinkle it on basically anything

I just want food!
Well... today I do...
I had icecream, milk and general dairy in the first trimester... then had watermelon and green grapes. Then hungry days and sick days, usually 1 or 2 of each in a row! Oh, and I had a big phase where I needed to have equal foods - a salty or sour food followed up by something sweet!
Now...
Not really much, still pretty bland foods. Can't handle feeding the cats, don't like chocolate. Only thing I can eat that is pretty sever is salt and vinegar chips - they have to be either Kettle or pringles though, not those Smiths cr**!
I'm missing twiggy sticks (those salami sticks from the deli!) and cold meats... and the other day I reeeeeaally could have done with a drink... or 5 or 6...
I just feel sick today
