View Full Version : How long before plastibell and foreskin fell off?

we had our son circumcised last wednesday and i was wondering how long it took for the plastibell to fall off as ds is sill in tact?

Anywhere from 5 -8 days is normal. I would having him checked out if it isnt off by tomorrow.

When is your check up ? This should be in the next few days anyways so maybe holding off till then if he isnt in pain or it doesnt seem infected.

My DS1 took 9 days for his to fall off but was advised this was common as he was much older having his done via the plastibell.

they said between 3-10 days sometimes longer i was just wondering. our check up is for next saturday as dh is going back to work next week.

Ok well unless there is an issue with it then i wouldnt stress at this point. The first sign of anything seeming wrong head to a doctor !

all good it fell off on day 11 looks nice and healthy:thumbsup:
