DD is going through a rather bad patch of eczema at the moment and her behaviour is totally out of control. She seems to snap when it is really itchy.
Does anyone else notice behavioural problems during eczema flare ups?
Yes, DS is irritable and cries more. It must be awfully uncomfortable and so hard as a parent to cope with. Hugs.

DS becomes really whingy and irritable.
I remember feeling really frustrated as a child when my eczema was bad and i use to snap at my parents.

I asked my Mum because my sister suffered from it badly as a child and she said that yes, when her eczema was at its worst her behaviour would be 'ferral' as she put it.
HTH :)

Yep, feral is how I would describe it too. And it will just be a very sudden change. She will be her normal, lovely, polite self and then turn into a screaming banshee with arms and legs flailing and because she works herself into such a rage, it just makes the itching worse.

I would think it would be the itch making her misbehave,. ,My dh says it feels like termites under his skin, that would make me irratible.

Yep, DS starts screaming and chucking tanty's at the littlest things when he has flare ups. Theres not much you can do but be patient with them til they calm down.. :(
