I know someone saw ER last Wednesday!! (Or did we ALL manage to forget it had changed days?! - Damn Channel 9!!!)

I think I must watch too much TV - I've been updating people on all sorts of stuff!

Sam and Luka are having trouble working together and this is picked up on by the new Head of Nursing (a bit of a ball buster). At the end of the night, she tells Sam that from now on, she'll only be scheduled to work at times when Luka is off. This means that Sam has to work 2 fewer shifts and one of the shifts assigned to her is on a weekend, so she can't spend that time with her son. The head nurse tells her the alternative is to be re-assigned to another department in the hospital. Sam says she's an ER nurse. She is informed it's one or the other.

Neela starts to put together a care package for her boyfriend in Iraq, including some raunchy shots of herself taken by Abby, in which she looks horribly uncomfortable and out of her element. When she gets back to her apartment and hears her flatmate Ray having a Very Good Time with a girl in the bedroom next door, her attitude is conflicted - she seems sad, uncomfortable. She might be missing her boyfriend or perhaps wondering if this long-distance thing is worth it.

Abby and Luka spend some time together, talking about stuff. She drives him home as he is too drunk and notices the mess that the place has degenerated into. When he passes out in the middle of a conversation, she looks sadly and wistfully at him before leaving.

Beany well i think you managed to cover it all oh and that surgeon on the show don't know his name snapped at luca for ordering him down when there was no need. Abby saw him in the oncology department and suspects he has cancer.

I am a massive ER fan and have been watching it from the start (9 or 10 years) but, I cannot take the new Head nurse seriously as I used to watch her on 3rd Rock from the sun (in which I found her hilarious) and every time I seen her on ER I was waiting for her to say something completly Funny!! I guess i will just have to get used to her in a serious role..

Yes, I'm getting used to her too. I remember her as Ivana Humpalot from the 2nd Austin Powers movie as well!!

3 Things about tonight's episode:-

1. Ten bucks says Luka gets together with the coma chick;
2. Why does ER always get bumped for Special Events (ie: Commonwealth Games, Swimming Trials etc. etc. etc.) They still do it now, even though it's been moved to a stupid timeslot!!! Grrrr! Makes me cranky!!! :mad:; and
3. OMG!!! MUST-SEE NEXT WEEKS EPISODE!!! What about Ray & the 14 year old!!!!
