is any one having a home birth every one thinks im sill having another home birth but there the best just wondering who else is crazy haha
I would loooooove a homebirth, but we just cant afford it....
Im still contemplating freebirthing... but it will be 'accidental'
still doing all normal hospital antenatal. and will go to the hospital after the birth to get me and bub checked... but it will still stop all hospital intervention during the birth :devil6:

What does 'freebirthing' mean?
i guess its ok having a home birth if you've had uncomplicated past pregnancies and your current pregnancy has no complications. Do you have to be within a certain distance from a hospital (just incase) or does it not matter.
It must be nice to give birth in your own sitting room or bedroom. I would be scared though incase anything happened.
Good luck to all of you who are doing it, it will be great hearing your birth stories.
A freebirth is not having a trained professional there (eg a midwife)
If i think there is any probs then there is no way i would risk it, but if everything is good then ill go ahead... im booked into the hospital, so i can go there if i feel something isnt right... but i had a fantastic labour & birth with DS so hopefully all is that good this time :D

Hey girls
This is a link to the Homebirth support thread where any questions you have would no doubt be answered. There is some great information on homebirthing, freebirthing and some of the costs related in different states.
I have homebirthed 2 with next bub to be homebirthed in Feb.
