Hey there how are you?

I was working on converting to cloth but then things went all up in the air and we moved back to NZ, now we're here I think I'll get back to work sooo....

I have...

2 Baby Beehind Hemps
3 Baby Beehind Bamboos
1 Swaddlebees pocket
2 Baby Kanga pockets
2 Peapods

2 bamboo/cotton inserts
1 BBH bamboo insert
1 BBH Hemp insert

And that's it.

So what would I need to have DS in cloth full time?

How many inserts?

How many nappies?

How many covers per nappy?

Thanks heaps!

For full time, 24 nappies are recommended, with washing every 2-3 days.

4 PUL covers is a good rotation (2 for one day, 2 for another). Then you have other covers such as woollies and fleece. You can never have enough woollies! 2 pairs of soakers/shorties/longies is a good start - wear one at night while the other airs, then rotate for the next night.

As for inserts/boosters, once again, you can never have too many. Keep in mind that things such as terry flats, face washers, microfibre cloths, etc can also be used as boosting.

Thanks :)

Where do I buy microfibre cloths? What do they look like? It's cheaper than buying the actual boosters?

You can just get them from your supermarket - just the cleaning cloth ones. You'd use these for pockets. They need to be wrapped in material (such as a flannel, terry flat, etc) as they are prone to compression leaks due to being a sponge.

I'm not sure about the expense, I've never actually use the microfibre myself (I don't have pockets). Personally I love the bamboo and hemp boosters/prefolds - so absorbent and can be used with any sort of nappy.
