Hi everyone,
I was just wanting some input.
If you were to order online, a photo of the sunrise on your babys birthday.....
* How much would you pay? (For say a 6 x 8 inch - which is 2 sizes up from standard photograph size) - I was thinking about somewhere between $6 and $10 each print?
* What size would you want? Normal photo size, or a bit bigger, a lot bigger?
* Would you be likely to order more than one? Say one for the album, one for the wall? Or just the one? Would you like to be able to buy different sizes?
* Would you like a choice of sunrise photo, ie. choice of 3 photos taken the same morning a few mins apart so they are a bit different?
*Is 2 weeks from payment to delivery too long to wait?
* Would you be interested in an express service, if it cost $10 more?
* Would you like the option of having an enlargement framed (say $60 for framed print)
* Would you like the option to have text such as the time your baby was born and bubs name etc... underneath the photo?
* Cloudy days are pretty cr@ppy for sunrises..... would you still be interested in purchasing a print if it wasn't a spectacular photo?
You don't have to answer all teh q's but if anyone has a comment on any of the q's it would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks :D
Here's my 2 cents worth!

* Would you be likely to order more than one? Say one for the album, one for the wall? Or just the one? Would you like to be able to buy different sizes?I'd buy one and would like to be able to choose size
* Would you like a choice of sunrise photo, ie. choice of 3 photos taken the same morning a few mins apart so they are a bit different??I'd look at getting all three and frame them together
*Is 2 weeks from payment to delivery too long to wait???Nope
* Would you be interested in an express service, if it cost $10 more?No - I'd wait
* Would you like the option of having an enlargement framed (say $60 for framed print)I'd frame it myself
* Would you like the option to have text such as the time your baby was born and bubs name etc... underneath the photo? Not sure if I'd get it but the option would be good
* Cloudy days are pretty cr@ppy for sunrises..... would you still be interested in purchasing a print if it wasn't a spectacular photo?I'd buy it anyway

Not sure if this is meant to be a one off for your self or a friend or something you do on a regular basis.
But that is a wonderful idea maybe sunrise for a baby born in the AM or a sunset for a baby born PM and you could maybe even some how put the face of the bubba in the photo.

I think thats really reasonable i would pay that much maybe though if you bought say three you got 10-% off?
* What size would you want? Normal photo size, or a bit bigger, a lot bigger?
I would say no more than double the size of a standard print i like that size :)
* Would you be likely to order more than one? Say one for the album, one for the wall? Or just the one? Would you like to be able to buy different sizes?
I would like the option of buying in say 3 different sizes, standard, one up and A4 at the most. I always like to store one pic and show off the other (in case of fire etc i have a tin box to grab)
* Would you like a choice of sunrise photo, ie. choice of 3 photos taken the same morning a few mins apart so they are a bit different?
That would be great :)
*Is 2 weeks from payment to delivery too long to wait?
Not if its stated and your told this
* Would you be interested in an express service, if it cost $10 more?
for sure
* Would you like the option of having an enlargement framed (say $60 for framed print)
as a gift for someone yes but not for myself i would use my own frame
* Would you like the option to have text such as the time your baby was born and bubs name etc... underneath the photo?
if it was in like a banner or something down the bottom yes or maybe like a label or something that i can position myself when framing or puttin in albumn etc
* Cloudy days are pretty cr@ppy for sunrises..... would you still be interested in purchasing a print if it wasn't a spectacular photo?
As long as it was the day my bubs come i wouldnt care you can still get some great effects on a cloudy day :)
Hope that helps

I actually have this...
I have the sunrise and sunset of the day DS was born, and DP provided a photo of DS to go in the centre of them. (It was a 'I love you' type of gift, just because).
It came framed, with a certificate of authenticity.
We could choose the colour of frame, and cardboard framing around the photos.
It was $150 for the 2 photos, around 15x18 in size.
Shipping was free as it was a local lady who does them!
Photos were cheaper by themselves - not sure the price though, but I think what DP paid is reasonable!

Oh and you could order as many as you want, get them enlarged etc.
And DS was born on a gloomy day, and the photo is still beautiful, as the sun is shining through the clouds slightly!
As for the name thing, maybe an engraved little plaque (similar to the ones you get on their hand and feet moulds, framed).... would be nice!
