Does anyone else have this problem or is it just me?

No matter if she is naked, or just in a nappy and singlet, dd will sweat profusely (sp?) from her head when she is feeding.

We live in melbourne and its definately not hot here at the moment so I know its not the weather.

Just wondering if this is something common or if it sounds like I should take dd to the doctor?

It has been happening since she was about 5-6 months but lately it is getting worse.

My DD started to sweat whilst BFing from around the 4-5 month mark till she stopped at 19 months.
But she is a hottie so to speak. She sweats during her sleep even uncovered in an aircon room and gets easily flushed when running around.
I think it's normal but some kids are prone to sweat more than others.

I found that with dd she was a hot baby though i guess, we were in melbourne too, after a feed she would sit up and the side she was resting was basically wet from sweat the only thing i found that stopped it was laying on the floor or bed and feeding her. I never took her to a doc but maybe mention it next time you go to rule out any concerns

My DS2 was the same from birth, and he was a winter baby! I used to drape a terry flat nappy over my arms etc then lie bubs on that, seemed to keep us both a little cooler.

DD was FF but would also sweat and heat up soo bad when it was hot. sometimes it felt like her head was burning my arm.

my sister also had the same problem with my neice and nephew while they BF...and when they got really sweaty they would not feed properly

since i grew up in the tropics my mum had to deal with it supper bad. she told both of us to put a cloth nappy between the back of the babies head and our arm....it works wonders

DD was a hot baby... she just sweated all the time...

Could that just be the case?
