I made sooo many cupcakes today..
Can I freeze them even though they are iced...?
Will the icing defrost ok??
(Its basic butter icing)
Hope so .. cant eat them all :laughing:

They should be fine all those yummy cakes in safeway are frozen :)

we always do, otherwise we would waste wayyy to many!
I just wrap them in gladwrap seperately and feeze, they dont take long to thaw out either

sure you can .. you dont even NEEED to wrap them (if you dont want to use all that plastic.
Just layer them with gladbake ... (ie.. sheet of gladbake (size of container)- cupcake - sheet of gladbake - second layer) and put them in an air tight container (e.g. tupperware)
they freeze fine .. and you can either eat them frozen (I know .. I'm a freak .. I LOOOVE frozen cake.. :laughing:) or microwave them for 10-20 seconds .. :)

( I dont cook .. but Jack's godmother is FANTASTIC in the kitchen.. and she always has stuff in the freezer for us when we visit :D)
