Hi Everyone,

I just wanted to hear from Mums who have experienced a vaginal delivery and then had to have a emergency or medically necessary Caeser for a subsuquent pregnancy. Basically the opposite of the VBAC mums.

Any other mums out there who went through similar feelings?

Hi there
I have absolutely no experience of this as I only have the one child. BUT, a good friend had a baby two days after me, her third also, and by emergency c/s, although not under general (spinal block only). She was an avid natural birth advocate and her first two were completely drug free (tho with loads of stitches!) so it was interesting to chat with her about having her third by c/s. She expressed similar feelings to you, but also noted the positive elements, commenting that she was glad for the fact that she had done no more damage to her pelvic floor (apparently a friend of hers had had pelvic floor probs after her third) and was just glad to have had the two previous VB experiences and to also now have had the c/s experience.
I assume you needed to have the c/s, so I also assume that at the end of the day you are v glad you could have one and that everything/everyone was fine....

all the best! :p
