For the past two weeks, DD has been really getting into doing wees on the potty/toliet.:smiliedance:

She thinks its just the best thing to be doing the same as everyone else, and will even do wees while out and about.

She is only doing wees at the moment, and has even figured out how to start pulling down her pants, only problem is they get stuck ont he nappy:rolleyes: .

For those that have TT little ones, and those currently going through it, is it easier to have a week or two at home so then every wee and poo is in the toilet??

So, are you training in nappies? I just stuck DD in undies and went from there ...

I took a gamble and ventured out the same week we started PT in undies ... it was an experience and she didn't go, goodluck, it takes time, but its quite fun , don't stress.

update us again ..

I have been a bit hesitant to put her into undies - have had a pretty busy week. I have some training pants, so might give them a go next week as we are having a more relaxed week:thumbsup:

Thanks Kiz - wont be long before Abby is up to this milestone too:D

We started toilet training last Monday, all is going well now, however, I would recommend staying home for the first week as it allows you to commit to the training 100% and it also makes it easier to observe your little one throughout the day, I would suggest sticking to just a couple of rooms in the house (maybe tiled rooms) just for the first few days as any accidents will be easier to clean up without hassle. We did venture out on a couple of occasions and it was as daunting as I thought it would be....

So good luck with your training....it can be a frustrating process and it can test your patience, but it's well worth it once you see your efforts paying off...stick with it
