Hey looking to start Caitlin off with swimming lessons and was wanting some suggestions. She is 11 weeks and I know most places start them at 3 months :yelclap: YAY cant wait. Does anyone have any suggestions of where to go I live in Nerang but willing to travel if they are worth it. Also wanting to compare the lessons that you do in the pool with your baby and the ones that they are one on one with the teacher if anyone can tell me which option they find is better...Thanks heaps for your help Caitlin loves water so Im sure she will love it!!!!! :)

I took my little boy to swimmin lessons for a week. Fair enough he loved them. But unfortantually he was to little to really do all the things the other people were doing, like the kids who were crawling and walking. So i have decided just to take him myself until maybe his 1st birthday than put him into lessons. It is a personal choice. But all bubba got to do was go under the water and get a cup of water thrown over his head which we do in the bath anyway.

Try Runaway Bay Sports Super Centre, all my four children have learnt to swim there, even when we lived at Sorrento and had to travel half an hour to get there. Call them they are great.

Hiya,

I have taken my daughter Freya to Robina Aquatic Centre since she was about 16 weeks.

When their young its more about getting confident in the water. When Freya was a baby she found it very relaxing and it was good bonding time for us.

She's now 16 months and loves it, it's alot of fun for her now.

All babies are different I have seen some young ones that really don't enjoy it, but if they like it the earlier the better I think.

Good luck
Karen
