DS1 was 26months when we decided to start training him and fully trained within a week. DD decided she was ready herself at 22 months, refused to wear nappies anymore and was fully trained within about 1-2weeks also. DS2 is now 20months so I hope to start trying to train him this summer.
DS is nearly 22mths and has shown signs of readiness for awhile now, but it has been too cold. Now that the warmer weather is nearly here I'm going to start training.

Ozzy was 2 but he pretty much toilet trained himself I didn't really have to do anything.
DS was 2.5, he's now fully trained day and night time.
First few he went when we prompted, now he's doing it by humself.

ds was about 2 and a half but now his back to sqaure one again due to accident these things take time though :(
dd is 3 in december shes semi trained at home shes fine but if we go out she seems to forget so i put something on her just encase :) shes barely wet though at night and seems to hold on just not game enough to risk not putting her in a nappy

My son trained himself at 3.
My daughter is 3 and shows no sign we try and try but meh shes wont.
I dont want to pressure her, its not really a big issue to me yet.
all my 4 were day trained by 2 .. & night nappies till 2.5-3... by 3 fully trained !!!

DS WAS trained a while ago, but then he stopped wanting to use the toilet so we are back to square 1!
Try to get him to go, but he tells me "NO" everytime I ask him if he needs to go toilet etc..Or cries if I put him on the toilet...
I havent really had much time of late either as had too much on to have the time to toilet train! He is 27 months..
Ozzy was 2 but he pretty much toilet trained himself I didn't really have to do anything.
thats how I feel .. Jack started using the potty at 18 months - but we got the potty out at about 14-15 months - just to sit and read etc (to make it not scary) - we didn't expect him to GO on it ..
one day he fluked it.. (we applauded) and about a week later he fluked it again .. then we introduced rewards (lollies, bandaids, stickers) - and we haven't really looked back - just took his pants away
we never felt that we 'toilet trained' as such ???
now we have to work out how to put his pants back on without accidents :p .. we're working on it!!

DS was 2yrs6mths, he went from nappies to undies with no probs and has never had an accident.
I continued to put him in nappies for night time coz I was preg and didn't feel like changing sheets in the middle of the night, but he was waking up dry in the morning and asking for the potty so I guess he was night trained at the same time. We stopped using night nappies when DD was about a week old (ds was 3yrs8mths), we ran out one night and I didn't feel like going out by myself with both kids at 7pm...DH was working. We have had 3 wet beds, 2 of them were when he had ear infections and the other was when we moved house earlier this year.
DD is 23mths and nowhere near ready to TT, but she will poo on the toilet/potty if I catch her before she does it in her nappy, she doesn't ask to go there tho.
DS1 was about 2.5 when he started toiletting, and out of a night nappy by the age of 3.
DS2 had just turned 2 when he started toiletting. He will be 3 in December and still wears a night nappy.

My son is 2yrs and 10mths and still isnt showing many signs as to being ready to start.
I am going to start in a few weeks (after I get everything I need) and see how we go.
Everyone judges me because he's still in nappies but I can't help it if he hasn't shown any interest or his communication skills weren't up to scratch when he was 2 :(
Wish us luck this summer!
I found a great tip in a magazine for mum's wanting to give the night time training a go.
Make the bed as usual, then stick another plastic mattress protector over them, then make the bed with another set of sheets, that way, if they wet the bed, no drama, take the first layer off, and there's already another layer on the bed ready to go.
I also found taking my son to the toilet around mignight for a few weeks worked, and cutting their fluids down about 2 hours before bedtime, he now goes through the whole night without an accident :)

Ignore them Nat. Peter will do it in his own time, trust me :)

My oldest is 3 on Friday and we are trying with no success, he shows no signs of wanting to learn and no matter how long you have him sitting on the toilet he waits until he is off.

Started at 2 years and she is now 3 and the last few weeks she has been going to the toilet by herself (rather than the potty).

My ds is only 15 months old and we haven't really toilet trained him. But we have the toilet seat where you just pop it on top of the normal seat. I tried to put ds on it a couple of months ago, but he wanted to get off it straight away. So we didn't try again until just last week. I just put him on the seat, I'll sing one nursery rhymes, by the time the song finished, even if he hasn't wee, I'll take him off it. We just start doing it now so that he'll get used to it, IYKWIM. At least now he'll sit on it for a longer period of time and still laughing and clapping:yes:
I started her at 2yrs 2mths & she was fully trained about 2mths later, she had very few accidents which was a nice surprise:yelclap:

We ditched the nappies cold turkey at 25 mths and fully potty trained at 26 mths.
She was doing pee pee on the potty every night for about 2 mths prior to the cold turkey.
She is now in cotton undies day and night and long car trips  she even runs to the potty , takes her undies off and goes ( when Daddy is telling her "wait a minute, wait a minute" )
I'm SO proud of her! :smiliedance:

DS is 2yrs 9mths. 2 weeks ago I decided to go cold turkey both day & night cos I knew he had control of bowel & bladder, he was just waiting for a nappy to do it in so we ditched them. He's been really good, only having 4 or 5 accidents in that time.

Dd started going by herself i used to just let her run nudie in summer she was about 1,she was fully tt'd during the day by 20 months its taking a bit longer to tt her juring the night because she drinks alot.
Ds is nearly 15 months and has gone on the potty 3 times so far, when it gets a bit warmer i will start tt him then.
Ive got the opposite problem with Bug. She is waking dry most mornings, but despite showing signs she still has no interest in the potty or the toilet. I tried cold turkey for a couple of days but she would get hysterical if she wet herself. I dont know what to do!
