Hello,

I am a new mum to 7 week old Noah and I live inner west. I do not know any other new mums and have found it difficult to make friends through the mothers groups who have similar interests.

I am very interested in getting back into shape and before baby was a regular runner (around the bay run) and gym member. I do not feel ready to leave Noah at the child minding centre at the gym and would prefer to do some kind of exercise with him. I have found there are strollercize classes in the eastern suburbs and inner north but have not been able to locate any mums and bubs classes which operate in the inner west.

Does anyone know of mums and bubs exercise classes which operate in the inner west or is anyone interested in getting together for a regular walk/run around the bay. If enough people are interested we may be able to arrange something with an instructor.

It would just be great to meet someone for a regular walk and chat.

I look forward to hearing from you

I am moving to Point Cook if that is anywhere near you. I would be very interested in this. I am a mum of 1yr old Sophie and would love to lose the rest of this baby weight before planning for number 2.

If this suits you please let me know

Hi there!

My name is Lucy and I had my first daughter Evie in September. We live in Glebe but I only moved to Sydney last year and so don't have any friends around with young bubs either and would love to meet up to chat and exercise... especially as we get into summer! :)

I'm also looking forward to getting back into shape and have sussed out a few options. I know that there is a mums and bubs boxercise class on at the PCYC (opp Harold Park) which I have been thinking about getting into (but haven't managed it as yet!).

And there is always mums and bubs yoga at the Yoga centre on St. Johns Rd (but again, haven't managed to get along there just yet!).

I'm not much a runner but love a good long walk and generally go for a walk down by the water every day or so depending on the weather.

Let me know if you want to meet up! :)

How sad do I sound?! I have missed out on all the local mothers groups due to a sick newborn but now my son is 14 weeks old I would love to have a group to grab coffee go for a walk with etc of people with the same age bubs.

I live in ultimo and frequent glebe so if you want to meet after Christmas let me know...:snow:

Hi!
I just tried to send you an email but the computer's playing up so not sure if it got through or not!
That's a bit dissapointing that you wern't able to go to a mother's group. Hope bubs is doing well now. As I said in the email, I'm in a mother's group in Glebe which I'm sure you'd be able to come along to or if that doesn't suit I'd be happy to just meet up for coffee or something.
Anyway, let me know if you would like to catch up in the new year!
Merry Christmas :xmas:
