Can anyone remember the name of the remedy that was mentioned on A Current Affair a few months ago?
It was two parents who developed the formula and they showed before and after photos of their child who had an extremely horrible case of it, and his/her skin cleared up totally after using it.
Ive looked on the site but cant find a mention of the story, but I was hoping to be able to find out what it was so I can get some for my daughter.
Any help most appreciated
Graham's Calendulis Plus cream
I have noticed that due to the story there seems to be limited stock in stores

Not many mums here have had success with it

Please patch test first, DS had a yuckky reaction to this product
I didn't even see the show about it but a local health food store intoroduced it to me, I tried it and it made the eczema worse, it was a waste of nearly $20, the pot wasn't very big and it stank. I find the QV products the best for me, but every baby reacts different to different things. Good luck.
P.S. changing to goats milk formula fixed my DS eczema.

I think ill pass then - I cant warrant spending $20 on something that probably wont work.
She only gets one patch on the back of her knee, so I dont mind treating it with cortisone when it flares up, which is hardly ever anyway, just annoying for her at the time.

I tried it too and it made the eczema worse. I have learnt to never bother with "miracle" creams.
I tired it too. It did not work at all!!! I also tried the QV suff (more wasted money). I found letting my little one have a nuddy play and using olive oil from the supermarket works well for her. Did wonders on her Craddle cap too.

yeah i think ill stick to the half and half olive oil and sorbelene for normal use, then the cortisone for when its flared up
(like now because her father is too moronic to put cream on her when it first starts)

Try the cold wraps at night either with or without corsitone sorbelene works well as does vegie oil or qv cream, usually if i do a cold wrap on dd and it doesnt work i do it again with the corsitone and it hits it i just try to minimise the cortisone use
Hi there...
My son suffered from shocking eczema it was horrible... I still cant look at photos as i get so upset. He is completely clear now...
I'm not a doctor (i am a nurse...) but i can't express enough how bad sorbolene is... It's petrochemical based and it is now stopped being used in aged care facilities due to it's harmfulness on delicate skin. Sorbolene does not allow the skin to breath as it creates a layer. This can exacerbate the problem thus causing a flare up and the need to use cortisone... I understand the need to use cortisone but if it's used too regularly in can thin the skin and cause more probs...
I treated ds with my own Vitamin E mixture.
All i did was buy a good vitamin E cream & added honey, almond oil & lavender oil. It's an excellent moisturizer with soothing red reducing qualities...
It didn't cure the eczema but it kept it at bay and there was no need to continue with the Antibiotic creams. He bathed in oatmeal which i bought and put in a piece of cheese cloth and put in the bath... I also am a huge fan of Dermaveen...
If i needed to use anything else i used Egoderm & Egopsoryl TA.
I understand what works for me may not work for anyone else
I hope i haven't stepped on anyone's toes...
Very passionate about this as i remember how desperate i was to see an improvement in my son...
Thanks for reading x

Oatmeal made it worse for DD, so did Sorbolene.
