Temperature charts?!

Hi,
I am currently doing my temperature every morning for a chart to give my new doctor, of course I know that I will have to do more than one, but I would like some advice about how to read it.
I have been ttc for nearly 3 1/2 years and me and DH are on our way to a fertility clinic on the 28th of Feb. We have unexplained fertility and hopefully there will be other options for us besides IVF.



Would love any advice on the temp. charts.

Hi Rach,

Have you logged onto Fertility Friend? That is the website most ladies use in this thread when temping. The basic service is free and the site has lots of advice for new timers. I've only been temping for 2 months now and find I'm learning heaps about my body and cycles. The most important rule is to take your temp. at the same time each day (upon waking and before getting out of bed). I have a Basal Body Thermometre but some ladies have said it works fine with a normal one.

I agree - Fertility Friend is brilliant - there is not a question you can come up with that dont have the answer for over there!

Thanks for taking an interest in this temping thing with me.
I have just started, so my chart is decidedly incomplete right now, whats BFD again?
I have lost my code sheet for all the abbreviations. Is it best fertile day?

I will have to learn how to get the most out of fertility friend too! If you have any hot tips. Right now I'm just banging in the temps. and CM stuff.

Rach, BFP means Big Fat Positive. It means Rik got a positive pregnancy test in her last month. :D Good luck with the charting. Fertility Friend is fantastic. I thought I might have problems with my cycle and my doctor was very impressed when I turned up with my FF charts. She hadn't seen anything like it before I don't think. :thumbsup:
