Pain in my side

I'm 12 weeks pregnant tomorrow with my third baby. For the last couple of hours i've been experiencing a sharp pain in my left side, and i can't remember if it's normal or not? It's right down low, and feels like a cross between period pain and a stitch iykwim.

Funny you should say that - I have exactly the same thing!
When I read up about pains etc during pregnancy the best I could decipher was that it was the uterus stretching which feels just like period pain only I find mine gives me some sharp pain as well.

It could be your stomach muscles stretching to make room for bub.I had similar pain about 1 week ago but it was where my kidney was i think it was from bubs kicking there too much.

:) hi i had the same thing i went away i still get it some times its just you growing also because its your third like me you can grow or quicker

Could be round ligament pain and it sucks the big one. :o I get it too and it is very low on my right hand side and worst when I am walking (have to stop) or when I roll over or get up from lying down. Or laugh when I am lying down. Actually it's not as bad anymore thank goodness.

There are two ligaments at the front and two at the back that hold your uterus in place and as your uterus grows these things have to reeeally stretch! When you see pictures it's quite obvious the amount of stretching going on. So they sometimes spasm and it hurts. I feel your pain. Literally.
