:confused: OK, without trying to confuse the topic even more lol I had my appointment today with my surgeon to book in my date for my c section.
Now my dates and his dates r only off by a few days. I have im 35 weeks tomorrow and he has Im 35 weeks on wednesday. And he is going by the scan he only done today. He said Im 34 weeks and 5 days. Anyway the days out dont bother me, its expected for dates to never b really correct. What confused me is, that he said he wants to perform my c section at 39 weeks. but gave me a date of 14th Nov. But according to his dates and calculations the 14th puts me at my 40th week. Im going to discuss this with my Dr i see on a regular basis on Monday. But im just confused as to why he hasnt calculated right. Why would he say he wants it done at 39 weeks, but book me in at 40 weeks?
I had an emergency c section with my previous pregnancy, due to small pelvis. which wasnt bad, but was looking forward to this time around being a little bit calmer, now i feel i'll b on edge and just worrying about when i'll go into labour. Anyone have any advice or comforting words? lol How quick do u go into labour second time around?
