me lazy = can i fix it

My dh and i have been married over 4 years now :eek: anyway cut a long story short i still have my wedding dress and there is a black permanant texta mark on it from my (darling) sister who droped it. she cried i told her to relax :yelclap:. Anyway mother in law said i should try and fix it but at the time never had any money to dryclean it. Is it to late to try. Its ivory rose and its only small. i want to keep it and hopefuly have a second wedding either next year or at our 10 year anniversary. Ive tried it on b4 getting preg and it still fits. so its my goal after bubs is out to fit in it again. anyway. please tell me if you think i should try and get it drycleaned? will it work after such a long time? or have a ruined a perfectly (expensive) dress.

dont know abuot the dry cleaning - but if you CANT get it out with cleaning - is it possible to camouflage (sp?) it with some embroidery or something?? can you hide the mark?? (where is it and how big is it??)

oh I am surprisingly clever :laughing: (and very very bad at removing stains !!)

one of the people I work with .. has a FANTASTIC shirt - it USED to be plain brown, but she accidently spilt a bleach based product on it .. so instead of throwing it out .. she just splattered more product on it .. and immediately washed it .. it looks FANTASTIC .. (some people are brilliant!!)
