Hello! Thought this might be a good place to recommend playgroups on the Gold Coast, so if you've got a favourite one, let's hear about it!

I've only just moved here, and today my 2 year old daughter and I went to the Playgroup run by the Anglican Church, at 73 Salerno St, Isle of Capri (coming from Bundall, it's on the left before the bridge.) It runs on Tuesdays, 9.30-11.30am, and you can contact Maggie on 55921543 if you need more information or to let her know you're coming! Cost is a gold coin, morning tea is provided for the children (BYO drink bottle) and tea/coffee/biscuits for the adults. It's Playgroup Association Affiliated, insurance is covered by the Church. No religious stories/songs/activities, just unstructured play, a cuppa and a chat :) The volunteers and the parents were friendly, the children played nicely, it's a good sized room with plenty of toys and things to do. We'll be back!
