Can we have a 30s plus forum please:)

I just added myself to an msm list for younger mums without realising:o

So thought I would find one for 30+ but there doesn't seem to be a forum for our age group.

Thanks

Kirsten

Hiya, I'm sure once Hilary sees this thread she will create it for you. You could also email her at hilary@bubhub.com.au

Don't forget there's a section for Older Parents. Most of us there are in our 30s :)

Hi thomasmum

The only problem with the older mums forum is that it says for 5yr olds and up and I don't fit into that category either:( Thanks for the email to hilary will send her a request.

Thanks everyone else for supporting my hopeful new forum.:D

Go the older mums starting late!;)

so us middle of the age-range people are stuck in the mainstream forum with no exclusive place of our own!:p:D

Am I missing something here? As Thomasmum pointed out there already is an entire forum section for older mums. It's not "exclusive", anyone can post and read there since old is just a state of mind and there's no cut off age. Here's a link: Chat with other Parents - Older Parents (http://www.bubhub.com.au/community/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=82)

You're welcome to create whatever thread topic you like there, such a similar thread one to that in the young mums section and put together a list of MSN contact details. So I don't really think Hilary needs to do anything, but perhaps she might have some ideas I've missed.

Kirstlea, I think there may have been confusion with the forum section for parents with older kids, which is completely different to the one for older parents :)

Ok, my mistake. Ignore my earlier post. I've had it kindly pointed out to me that the description for the Older Parents forum says 40+, although that's not been strictly followed in the past.

Thanks Martha:)

I thought I was going mad when you posted previously. I went back and had another look and really thought I must be missing something.

Thanks for letting me know I'm not mad;)

Its no big deal if we can't have a separate forum, it was really just a thought.

My motto in life with everything is if you don't ask you don't get!

Thanks again

Argghh! I miss out.......

I don't fit in with the under 25's and the 30 somethings don't want me either.

I'm in limbo for another 2 years!

Ok, as some of you have already found out, the new 30something parent forum has been created! Go here (http://www.bubhub.com.au/community/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=221).

Thanks Hilary :)
