Chloee Anabelle's birth story!!

Date: 2nd Oct 07
Weight: 3250g
Length: 54 cm
Head Circumference: 33 cm

Ok so we arrived at the hospital at 7am for my planned CSection and was briefly checked in and tagged then told to wait in "waiting room" two more couples arrives and were also waiting... Had a little chat to them and i told them that one of them was first and the other was third.. I was then taken to my room and all details taken down.. at about 9am was taken into waiting room for theatre and warm blanket put on me.. then anesthesist come and got me and took me to his needle room and gave me the IV.. taken into theatre and prepped.. was told that I had a "perfect back / spine " for a spinal.. took a while as he was talking a student thru what he was doing...once i layed down i started to feel sick and had a chuck for a few minutes given some more drugs to help.. then it was about 950 dh was brought in to the room, and they started cutting and tugging then i felt this almighting release feeling and heard a scream and she was there.. it was perfect.
Had a quick kiss of her and she was taken away to be checked etc..

I was stitched and stapled up while DH went back to the room with her and was weighed etc.. went to recovery at 1020 all went well there went back to room at 1050 and was having my first cuddle not too long after..

As soon as I saw her i knew she was smaller than DD and confirmed she was a girl..

Her APGAR was 9 and 9.. Perfect little girl..

The M/W was a bit concerned that her ears were a little odd shaped, her eyes are quite small and another nurse thought they could be fused as she doesnt open them much and she also has her legs in an awkward position which were all checked by the paed and she is fine.. has clicky hips a little but he said to keep an eye on them if its still the same at 6 weeks then she'll need an ultra sound on them..

I delayed coming home yesterday as my legs felt and looked quite tight and also swollen they thought it could have been DVT had an ultrasound on them but it wasnt ThankfullY!! just told to rest and put them up when I can..

But all in all we are good!

If you got this far thanks for reading!
