View Full Version : Maybe labour
Not sure whether it is or not yet. As I was induced with DD I dont really know what to expect.
I took some castor oil at 8pm and for the last hour have been getting pains on and off. Some in my back and some in my lower stomach. All the pains are pretty close together but last a few seconds then stop, then come back a few seconds later etc.
Also have a bit of nausea (probably caused by the castor oil) so that is the reason Im not in bed trying to get some sleep, dont know whether Im going to throw up or not.
Feeling very very tired though.

Ahhhhh I was in your exact same situation this time last year. My DS2 was due on the 25th, I took castor oil on the night of the 6th about 8pm, went into labour on my own by midnight and had my boy at 4:03am on the 7th.
I hope this is it for you. All the very best for a nice easy labour.

Go get some rest why you can and sleep through the pain if are you are able too naturally if the pain is regular and they get stronger then its a sure sign :) fingers crossed!! Good luck
Omg, how coincidental is that?
Hope that mine works out the way yours did.
Im actually starting to get a little scared though thinking about all the pain that is to come. My labour with DD has all just come flooding back into my head and its freaking me out a little.

Just wanted to wish you beautiful labour vibes hun! Your beautiful little baby will be here before you know it! :hugs:
Grrrrr...still here :banghead: after my last message last night I took a couple of rennie tablets for my nausea which cleared it up right away. Decided to go to bed and try to get some rest. Ended up falling asleep and woke up this morning with no pains.
Really thought the castor oil had worked for me. May try another dose sometime this morning.
Thank you to all you wonderful ladies who have written me messages :)

Nothing happening here this afternoon. Just went for a walk with DH and DD. Still deciding about whether or not to take more castor oil.

All the best honey and wishing you a fast and easy labour:yes: :) :babydust2:
 I had a 'show' 2 hours ago. Cant believe bubs decides to start things a few hours before my induction booking. Still have a little bit of hope of going on my own now. We will see though.

You never know Hun -you may be able to get away with just having your waters broken, or a little gel.
Good Luck!
