Was it my plug? (TMI warning)

Im 39 weeks pregnant and think I might have just lost my plug but Im not sure.
I have had allot of CM in the last week or so for some reason but today i went to the toilet and wiped and got a glob of it which was thicker than normal (looked exacly like thick snot!):o , it was creamy in colour but no sign of any blood streaks. It wasnt as big as i would have imagined the plug to be though, probably was the size of a 5 cent piece (but not the shape)

Could this have been the plug?

Yep it sounds like it was part of it :yes:

Sometimes it doesn't come out all in one hit, you'll lose bits of it over a longer period.

This happened to me with my second bub, I would lose bits of plug every few days over a week or so. There was never any blood in mine either.

Sounds like your body is gearing up for showtime...just relax though it could still be a while yet. But at least something is happening! :)

:yes: I was the same with DS3. I was getting more and more discharge each day for almost 2 weeks, lovely I know. Then I started getting bits like you've described. Some with blood, some without blood.

:hugs: hello it sounds like it was part of it i lost mine in 1 go it was big like umm half a fist no blood in it wat so ever and my contractions stared 3mins later so goodluck :hugs:

i had the same happen to me yesterday a glob that was bout size of a grape n was clearish n looked like snot no blood tho but im only 31 weeks! so i hopin i stil got alot longer left i never had this wit my 1st pregnancy
