What songs did you have in the Labour Ward

I had a few cd's playing I was in the room for 12 hrs. From 8cm dilated to fully I had Guy Sabatian playing "Angels Brought You Here" While I was in the pushing mode I had Michael Buble's cd going and just as my son was born and I was cutting the cord I could here "I Finally Found Someone" (who needs me)

It was fantastic :D

For christmas dh gave me the 100% Hits the best of 2005, it had one of my favourite songs your beautiful by james blunt, but i never got to listen to the cd. Most of the time we had the radio going.
after 20 hours being in labour i had to have an emergency c/section and when I was in the room before the operating room the radio was on and my fav song your beautiful was on, dh and I looked at each other and laughed. Everytime I hear that song now I think back to when I had Rhiannon.

i made a tape with jamorque and other up beat tunes to get me fired up, left it at home though both my labours were only 4 hours so i wasnt to disapointed i forgot it, had other things on my mind

I had the radio on but to be perfectly honest, i did not pay any attention to it.
I only knew it was on because when i first went into the birthing room, it was so quiet.

Would you believe my husband had the cricket on...... The final ashes series game. I had a Black Eyed Peas song playing in my head, had heard it earlier on in the day.
