Dirty Dancing....

I noticed beetlgrl having a brag about Rob Thomas.....

Well last night I went to see Dirty Dancing on stage!!!!! It was soooo amazing!!! We had so much fun. Kim Valentine was awesome as Baby ( Libby from Neighbours). & The guy who played Jonny... MMm mmmm!!! :p

i went to see dirty dancing when it was here in sydney... as a huge fan of the movie i think they did a great job.. kim suited the role so well! i didnt realise she was such a good dancer!

ohh yeah we managed to get tickets in th front row... and u could see everything:eek: lol but dam johnny looked good.

LOL!! We were in the top balcony & during the water scene we could see them falling onto a mattress!! :D LOL It was a classic!!

I saw it too...Feb 5th. It was great.

One thing I thought wasn't so great was that "Johnny"s accent was pretty shocking...he really needed to practice it a bit more I think. I also didn't like that the opening song was changed! I like that "be my baby" song...it reminds me of the opening credits of the film...but it was some other weird song...and that annoyed me a bit.

Kim did do a good job as a Baby...but she was a little more "babyish" than Jennifer Gray, don't you think? She reminded me more of a child than in the movie version. But it worked for her.
