My cousin in 5 1/2 and she loves anything crafty.
Last week her mum bought her a sand art kit to do with me while I babysat her, the ones where you peel off the sticker and pour on the sand. She loved it and it took us almost an hour. It is a bit messy but we did it on the back veranda.
She also loves the plaster of paris molds that you can paint.
