Missing Teeth???

Hi Guys
I was wondering if there is anyone out there that may be in the same situation as me.
My 9mth old girl has her 2 bottom central teeth and has just cut through her 2 top teeth that are to either side of the central teeth.
So she is starting to look like miss dracula!!
Im just a bit worried that her top central teeth are missing, I was just wondering if im over reacting and she will eventually get them or should I take her to the dentsit to get them xrayed to see if they are there at all.
If I know other people have had this same situation I will give it a bit longer before the dentist trip.

Hi 3kidsmum ... all very very normal. Sometimes teeth follow the 'standard' pattern of emerging ... and other times, as with your little bub's case ... they don't!

I'd love a gleeful little dracula. The other teeth will follow soon after but if they haven't turned up in another eight months or so then absolutely, take her to the dentist.

For the time being, just make sure you take loads of photo's:p :p

Hi there,
I asked my child healthcare nurse if it was normal when my bub got his "fang" teeth first and she assured me that this happens in quite a few cases. Sure enogh a few weeks later now and he's front two teeth are here (almost). As Supermum says, the "Dracula" look is really quite cute!

Don't worry about the order bubs teeth are coming thru, or how long they take...they'll all be in there somewhere :)

I posted this somewhere else last night...can't remember where so I'll do it again...
My DS got his first tooth at 17mths old :eek: He got a top middle and the first molar on the same side on the same day, the matching pair on the other side came thru a week or so later...he had a gap of 2 teeth on each side. Then he got a bottom middle and the matching molar, then the other side molar then the middle one...does that make sense??? Anyway...this all happened within about 2 or 3 mths, then the rest filled themselves in over the next few mths til all he was waiting for was the one tooth one either side of the bottom middle ones. He waited over 12mths for them and got one of them about a month ago and the last one is about to come thru now. I've not counted his teeth so I'm not sure if he has gotten his 2yr old molars yet:o
Some bubs teeth jst take longer to come thru than others...alot longer:rolleyes: I got my first tooth at about 9mths, so did DH, we have no idea why DS teeth took this long.

But wouldnt you know it, the night that I put that message up, she cut her first front tooth! So everything is fine, I was over reacting YET AGAIN!!
