 Everyone

DH and I will be moving in dec/jan down to the south east area of melbourne. We currently live very much up north and as Im pregnant Im so far going to the northern hospital in epping.

As we will be moving still continuing to go to this hospital for my labour would be crazy as the area we are looking to live is about 80 kms from the hospital..

There are many hospitals in the south east area but I was thinking how would I book into these hospitals? as most are already booked now and if I do it in January ill be 22 weeks or so and may not be able to get in at all?? does that make sense? Its just a thought Im having as I was wondering if anyone else has had to change hospitals due to moving? and what was needed to do so.

Im going to chat to my doctor about it but that wont be for a while till me next check up in 3 weeks or so.

I was hoping to start to sort something out now if I could.

Thanks for any help you can give and sorry for the long winded post :D

Tasha :yelclap:

I have no idea Tasha! Surely you must be able to do some kind of transfer, what if you rang Epping Hospital and asked them if you can transfer in the middle of your pregnancy. There must be some way you can do it. Hopefully some smart cookie will come along and answer your question better than I have :D

IF you know where you want to go, maybe monash or dandenong or frankston? I would be ringing now and making a tentative booking, i know that monash are always very busy and have been turning people away so best to get in there at least sooner rather than later, i think you can email monash too :)
