View Full Version : One leg shorter than the other?????

Hi all
Me and my partner have just found out our daughter had one leg alot shorter than the other and are waiting to see a specialest. Has anyone had this problem and what sort of procedure is done to lengthen the leg? any information would be good as we are quite worried :eek: and confused :confused:

I just read your email. My son had this problem although not pronounced. He had to wear orthotics (it's like a pad) in his shoe for a couple of years. He's now 22 and he's fine.

You shouldn't worry too much until you have seen the specialist. Children tend to outgrow these things. It's good that you found out early.
