Welcome to the FINAL VOTE for the SKY photo comp.

We have a draw in one of the heats, so there will be three finalists:

Wow, thank-you all so much for voting for me. I'd like to thank my mom...:D, sorry, just having a Michael Jackson moment.

I feel a bit special now and pleased to be in such good company as Twoblue and Pavlovpup.
Thank-you to you both for a fun competition ans well done on your photos. They are both gorgeous shots.

Now, off to think of a theme for the next one. I have an idea forming.......;)

would it be rude of me to request you choose a theme that is easy to take with a plain digital camera without all the extras. i only have a very average cam. would be nice to be able to contribute.

Not rude at all. My camera is a plain, no frills, digital camera that I paid very little for on Ebay-it isn't even a brand, it's made by something called Megxon!

I think the competition is more about creativity and imagination rather than what your camera can do.

For instance, the photo I took that won this competition could have been just a fence with a baby going through it. But I chose to lay down on the grass and put the fence on the side in my view finder while making sure I had some sky in the distance as well as grass in the foreground.

Play around with it a bit. Try taking some photos on a sunny day and some on a grey day, Try putting your item of interest right up into the foreground but include plenty of background in the shot too. It's all about experimenting. :thumbsup:

Ooooo Wattle, I'm going camping in the morning, please please please if you have time start the new thread with the new theme before then, I'd love to know what it is before I leave as I'm taking my camera with me :D :fingerscrossed:
