eucalyptus oil what is it used for with babies?

I'm so sorry to be so stupid but can someone tell me what eucalyptus oil is used for,as i don't have any & i wonder if i need it,
(i was reading a thread where someone mistook it for panadol ,so I'm just curious,should i buy some?)

I use it in the laundry, I put a few drops in when I'm washing something woollen.

When Vally was a bub, I used to use Tea Tree Oil (diluted) in a spray bottle to wipe down the change mat after each nappy change. I guess you could use Eucalyptus Oil instead of Tea Tree?

You can use it as an inhalent to clear a blocked nose and to make breathing easier.....usually it's used with a vaporiser....it's also good to use around the house,it's good at getting sticky labels or sticky marks off things.:)
