Getting Bigger

Oh my gosh. I cant believe it. I have been home for quite awhile feeling yuck but today i have to go food shopping so i went to get dressed. First off the last 2/3 weeks i have eaten hardly anything and vomitted numerous times a day. Well my problem was that all my pre preg clothes were tooooooo tight. I then went to put on some maternity ones i have and i looked sooooo big!!! I am so stressed as i am not even 9 weeks yet. In the end i have put on gym pants but dont have a top yet???

Is anyone else going through this??? It just seems so strange because:
1. i am only almost 9 weeks
2. i didnt think i would be bloating as i have been so ill and off food.

Well, on Friday I'll be 10 weeks.

My jeans are too tight around my tummy - I can do them up, but as soon as I'm home, the button comes undone! I'm hoping I'll be able to keep wearing them for at least a couple of weeks.

We don't have scales at home, but when we were at ikea on the weekend, i stepped on a pair there, and although I can't vouch for their accuracy, it doesn't seem like i'm any heavier. But my boobs are massive and doing a pamela anderson impression in all my usual tops. I've been wearing all my looser tops lately.

I've got all my sister's maternity clothes, which i sorted through and hung in the cupboard on the weekend. I tried a few things on, but they're massive - but then again, she had twins and had the biggest belly you've ever seen.

DH is excited to see my little bump though.

I look about 5 mths by the end of the day! It's bloating even if you don't eat some how you swell up!

My tummy is a little bloated in the morning but by the night I am sooo bloated looking about 4-5 months pregnant already !:laughing:
With DD I didn't even really show til 5 months so this is def different ! I think cause It's no2 and my tummys been stretched out already (and It wasn't that long ago either)so I expect to show early .
My jeans are too tight so I don't even try to wear them anymore ! I've pulled out my maternity pants already and I'm only 7 and a half weeks !!:laughing:

I will definately say i am feeling so big already! I am 8 weeks and a few days. I took a pic tonight, but can't find my USB cable, so will post a pic when i can find it.

ETA: found my cable, here is a pic of me taken today.

I was a little tubby before but my tummy didn't stick out as far as my boobs, so i can notice that i am bigger as my tummer is larger than my boobs now! lol

Errrgh, so I have been told in another thread that my stomach looks flat... but I tell you, my pants beg to differ. Even my stretchy pants feel like they are pressing!! Gone are my non stretchy pant days.

I am too proud to buy maternity clothes at this point.

I feel self-conscious about my stomach. Usually it is completely flat, but now I have a little bump bit at the top and the lower part is definitely moving more toward the "pot" description. Forgot to take a picture on Sunday...

I wish I could be at that "obviously pregnant" stage and not just the "looks like she's chubbing up" stage.

Sweetie i didnt buy maternuity (sp) clothes at all and i went from a size 6 to a 16 lol then back down to a size 8 after birth

with this years fashion u can wear loose tops and pants:)

i look huge and im only 9months and im just wearing normal clothes. i went bought a new wardrobe :)

I'm 16 weeks now and things seemed to have calmed down a bit with my weight gain.

When I first found out I was pregnant I was putting on weight (or atleast I appeared to be) like nothing else. I put on so much (between my dated ultrasound and my 12 week ultrasound) that it was thought I was having twins.

My stomach seemed to grow every day!!

Once I hit the 13 week mark everything seemed to slow down and run at a nice smooth pace.

It might seem like you are putting on a lot but if you are anything like me it will slow down for a while.
(My theory is my body is just biding time for the next rush).

EmsMum - I wish i felt like a skinny minnie, but in the 6 months between getting married and getting pregnant, I'd already put on 6kgs, and with the extra 3kgs since then, i feel like a heifer! But thanks! You've boosted my self esteem!

Anyone else's belly button looking different? Mine seems to have "opened up" quite a bit and I can see what looks like little red veins that seem to be coming out from the bottom half - I hope they're not stretch marks starting already!

I think if you're tall or have good tummy muscles then you won't show much at all. I did yoga when pregnant with Eliza and despite having a section with her I snapped back by day 10 I was slimmer and a flat stomach sadly it didn't last lol am doing the yoga again this time I don't want a apron over my playground :D

You guys probably feel smaller because it's your first and you are smaller. Second time around your body has already stretched once so does it earlier. Be glad you are smaller lol once you get big it's harder to get comfy!

Hi Everyone ! Am loving all the belly pics !How exciting that all our tummy's are starting to show.

Don't worry Mumma Jugs ! I am 21 weeks with my 2nd baby and I'm as small as you .
I get people coming up to me saying stuff like Is the baby ok ? I got it through out my last pregnancy all the time and spent my pregnancy worrying and bub was fine so I'm not going to let it worry me this time.
Some people just carry smaller . I used to do a lot of exersise so I'm thinking our tummy muscles must be good.
EVERYONE said wait til you have your 2nd bub - You'll be big then ! and so far that is just not true , to be honest - I think I'm smaller this time :laughing:
I was sure I'm having a boy but from my tummy size I'm starting to think it may be a girl again :)

Mum said she carried alot smaller with me (i was her 2nd and last) but i ended up being a bigger bub than my brother by about 1 and a 1/2 pounds. Its strange the way bodies work. I have always been quite fit and on the athletic side of things. so that could be a plus... im hoping. :D also im almost 6 foot tall. dont know if this is a good or bad thig... only time will tell. bring it on!!!!!!!!!:laughing:

People were saying to me also "your baby must be so small ,your lucky If it'll be 5 pounds !" She ended up being 7 and a half pounds !(which is a good size for a first bub)I think she must have been sitting right back -like this bub must be doing .
The nerve of some people - They should keep their mouths shut !
